Is Murphy’s Law purely satirical, or stating the obvious, that usually no QC whatsoever is occurring?
Murphy’s Law – “whatever can go wrong, will go wrong” – or similar statements.
Is Murphy’s Law simply a restatement that usually no quality control whatsoever is taking place and therefore if fortuitously quality occurs, it is allowed to fall back to a low water mark.
Only exception would be if someone knew something about process control, as in the following “Usually in process control a percentage limit is the benchmark. So if the limit was set at 98.5% and output quality dropped below that then the alarm bells would start ringing. It would be Quality Management’s job to get the process back on track and continuously work on improvements to raise the bar higher than 98.5%. “(as stated in a Yahoo Answer)

How many bales per acre per year?
Say I wanted to set an one acre plot with straight alfalfa. And I wanted to pack the cuttings as the little square bales. This is all hypothetical so consider all soil quality, seed quality, water quantity, pest management, packing density, and weather at average – Not the best but not the worst. And say I wanted to do three cuttings in one year. How many bales would you assume would be pulled out?

environmental science degree at calstate fullerton?
I’ve been looking into getting a masters degree at calstate fullerton in environmental science. i have a bs in ecology. fullerton is really affordable and i like the program. has anyone been to fullerton or knows someone that has, if so what is your impression?
also, i was wondering if someone could tell me more about what to expect as an environmental scientist. what is the work like? is it primarily outdoors? what is the day to day like? possitives and negatives of the job? i know there are many different types of jobs you can do, but i suppose i am mainly interested in natural resource management or water/air quality management, but im not exactly sure yet. any feedback would be appreciated
