No, but those who are have my sympathy. Am I the only one who remembers the WPA projects that Roosevelt introduced... This is an example of what Americans need to do to invest in America not foreign lands. And this War in Iraq is exactly the opposite of how we need to invest our tax dollars. And yes, I know that this has been talked about for 2 years, but we must establish a new Energy Department at the national level to stimulate Americans, with tax incentives if necessary, to make more efforts to free us of foreign fuels, to better develop our own reserves, and to earnestly develop alternative fuels. This is no longer an option, it is an necessity. Besides we are just allowing another deadly national problem to get out of control if we do not: pollution.

No one will be hurt by radon from oil drilling. Liberals just keep making up stupid lies because they hate America and do everything they can to hurt the American economy, then scream that Bush caused it.
You are repeating an evil lie when you say Bush "deregulated drinking water standards and air quality standards." He did no such thing. You better wake up and start looking for the truth instead of believing all those liberal lies before your mind is permanently poisoned.

jakflak not as smart as you think you are.

Radon is a radioactive gas. It occurs naturally and is produced by the breakdown of uranium in soil, rock, and water. It can also dissolve into our water supply.

While most radon-related deaths are due to radon gas accumulated in houses from seepage through cracks in the foundation, 30 to 1,800 deaths per year are attributed to radon from household water. Showering, washing dishes, and laundering can disturb the water and release radon gas into the air you breathe.

sorry, can't take pompous people other than myself. actually, i will not be affected since i live in the northwest. of course california may need to import more of our precious clean water, and that could certainly affect me.

it's sad, they've already ruined the colorado river by diverting most of it to LA so movie stars can water their grass. another assinine move by george bush.

there is no such thing as pure water, all water has a certain amount of bacteria in it, what makes the difference is the minerals in it, sometimes they occur naturally and sometimes they are added, remember though when tap water is treated it is filled with chemicals, they may be used to clean the water but it makes me wonder what is left in there and is it doing my body any harm??
