Water Quality

OK well I got a project due tommorow and it’s about the Yadkin River Basin. I have to find out the human affects on water quality and it says, “What is the condition of streams in urban, agricultural and rural watersheds in your basin? What kinds of pollution could you expect from urban, agricultural an rural areas in your basin?Find out about businesses in the area.”
Can anybody help me plz?

We are getting ready to plant our first garden (Yippy!!) and of course we are looking forward to a bounty of tomatoes. However, we have a shallow well and the water is undrinkable due to high salt content (it might also be high in iron – I suppose need to get it tested?). I am concerned how this might affect our garden when we need to water it off our well water.
