If it is basic stuff, you can probably use a local lab for a lot cheaper price. If you are doing something like mercury, or ultra low metals, or medications, or pesticides, you&#039;ll have to find a speciality lab and it will cost a lot ($300-500 per sample analysis).

You&#039;ll also need to know what numbers are acceptable and what are not.... If you water company is going to fudge something, odds are they&#039;ll compare the number they have with the highest water quality standard that they can, which doesn&#039;t mean healthy water...
