Is it necessary to turn off the water at the spigot then empty a garden hose after each use?
buff asked:
We’d once heard that, if the water isn’t turned off and the hose emptied, the water pressure would eventually damage the hose. We use a high quality, thick-walled hose.
(Of course we empty the hose if frost is expected, and store the hose indoors over winter.)
